Learn to Swing Dance in a day!

Ready for even more fun at the 1940’s Ball? Then learn to swing dance in a day! Whether you’re looking for a refresher, or you’re brand new, we’re going to maximize your time so that you learn all of the basics and fun-damentals you’ll need to have the best time at the Ball! The first couple of hours will be devoted to Jitterbug (aka East Coast Swing/6-count Lindy), with classic moves and variations, and we’ll move into 8-count patterns for the last hour of the day. So get your dance shoes ready… we’re going to have a fun! Class size is limited to 25 couples, so reserve your spot today!

3. Intro to 8-count Patterns: Charleston & More

When:
Saturday, June 11th, 2022, 11 am to 2 pm,
(there will be a five minute break between each class)

Where: First Presbyterian Church, 120 W 1st Ave, Denver, CO 80223
Go up the fire escape on the W side of the building to the 2nd level and a beautiful dance floor!

• Vaccine recommended, masks optional

• You can pay at the door with check or cash. Credit cards are only accepted online!

• Singles are completely welcome! One half of the class elects to rotate partners throughout class, and those who do, generally learn the basics faster!

• Wear comfortable shoes. It’s preferable to have a shoe with a slightly slicker sole for dancing, and try not to wear heels! We like to dress nice but casual!

• The workshop is one price. There are no a la carte offerings!

• There are no refunds for missed sessions or for inclement weather, unless the workshop itself is cancelled!
