The Big Apple Workshop!

  • First Presbyterian Church 120 West 1st Avenue Denver, CO, 80223 United States (map)

Much more than a line dance, The Big Apple is a vintage era choreography so classic that it's a veritable dictionary of early Jazz movement! Made famous by Whitey's Lindy Hoppers in the Garland movie "Everybody Sing" and choreographed by the original Ambassador of Lindy Hop himself, Frankie Manning, this dance is energetic, fun, and complex! Don't worry though, we'll guide you through it from A-Z, and break down all of the movements so you can perfect it, nail it, and jump into the circle to perform the next time you're out.

This is a 3 hour workshop so wear comfortable clothes that you feel great moving in! We'll be moving at a fast pace, so come ready to LEARN! Also recommended: a water bottle, snacks, notebook, towel, and positive energy!
